   A Little About Us:

ImagineWorks, LLC (our parent company) was founded in 1998 by internet professionals who have been working on the World Wide Web from the early 1990's. Our company focuses on hosting for personal and business web sites. Our staff consists of highly professional and dedicated individuals. We combine the latest technologies with our many years of experience, taking into consideration the need for people to host personal web sites, without all the extras needed for big business. However, we are flexible enough to meet requirements of the large companies as well.

We offer top quality hosting service, 24 X 7 customer support, and flexible payment options. Our servers are located in Boca Raton, Florida. Our servers are operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Please contact us with any and all questions, just e-mail our sales department.
We look forward to hearing from you!

   Our Facilities:

All of our servers are housed in our private secure data center located in Boca Raton, Florida. We do not co-locate or resell anyone elses servers.

The facility that we are located in was originally the North American Headquarters for IBM. It was here that the first IBM PC was developed. This facility is located in one of the largest hurricane proof commercial sites in the US. It is built to withstand a direct hit from a category 5 hurricane.

Our data center features chilled water air conditioning units fed by a large water chilling plant, redundant utility power feeds and a large 10MW generator farm. There is enough fuel on site to power the generators for 3 weeks with service contracts in place for priority refueling. All of this equipment is tested on a regular basis to ensure continued service and reliability.

All bandwidth is provided by redundant network connections to NTT/Verio. NTT/Verio is one of the largest Tier 1 network providers in the world and their quality is considered second to none. Click to View the NTT/Verio Tier 1 Network. We have redundant GigE fiber connections directly to NTT/Verio. We are located within the same building as Verio's Boca Raton facility, so our fiber is connected directly to their network backbone with no local loop. The Verio connections route directly to South Florida's triple redundant fiber SONET ring. We are using a backbone with fiber paths from multiple vendors, ranging in speed from OC-3c (155Mbps) to OC-12c (622Mbps) we currently can support up to 2 Gigabytes of simultaneous bandwidth per second, and this can be increased exponentially as needed.

For security, we have a 24/7 security staff as well as a top of the line biometric security system. This facility also has automatic fire detection/suppression systems that are carbon instead of water based.

We value your privacy here at SecureHost Online Services. Firstly, because we believe in the right and need for privacy, and secondly because we dislike companies that abuse personal privacy just as much as you do.

18) User Policies

a) Respect
Each customer is expected to use his/her account for the purpose of maintaining a web site only, with responsibility and respect toward other Internet users. Common sense is the best guide as to what is right and wrong, and it's the same guide we'll use when analyzing an event of questionable behavior.

b) Lawful purposes only
All customers must use their web hosting accounts for lawful purposes only. This means that you can not house or transmit any kind of information that could be considered illegal by a government body.

c) Unauthorized use
No customer may use an account to: Try to break in to the account of another customer or user on the Internet. To "hack" another account, computer or network at a local or remote location. Run scripts that can be damaging to another account or computer system either local to our network or remote. Password cracking, port scanning, or any other method used to find weaknesses on a local or remote computer system. Other events we might consider to be harmful to a computer system or network.

d) Legal and acceptable content only
No customer may transmit data that we may consider illegal or immoral. This includes but is not limited to: Anything we might consider pornographic, obscene or of adult content this includes banners, text, photos, cartoons, renderings, etc. The final determination of what constitutes such material is made by us. Information that is damaging to an individual, group or organization. This includes information promoting racism or hate crimes. MP3s or other formats containing music that has not been authorized for public distribution. Game ROMS that can be considered damaging to a company, its sales and/or brand. What is known as "warez" files. Software serial numbers, crackz, software for hacking, etc. Any other files not mentioned above but considered illegal and/or unacceptable. Such determination is to be made by us.

e) Acceptable use of account
Customers may not run scripts or have CGIs that will consume an unacceptable amount of server resources (CPU and/or RAM), as this affects the overall performance of a server, and thus affects other web sites that may be sharing that particular webserver.

f) E-mail, spam and mailing lists
"Spam" is the act of sending mass unsolicited advertising (through any means, either email, USENET, ICQ, etc) to users that have not requested it. We do NOT tolerate spam. The account of a customer found to be spamming will be terminated immediately (even if the spam did not originate from our servers but it's about advertising a web site or service on our servers). Email sent to other users should be respectful and considerate. If it is proven that email originating from a client is affecting any other Internet user/organization in a negative way, then the client may have his/her account terminated immediately. Mail bombing, subscribing a user to a mailing list without his/her authorization, the posting of outrageous messages to generate response and/or cross posting to an excessive number of newsgroups to bring traffic is forbidden. Mailing lists provided by web sites must all include instructions on how a receiver can unsubscribe from the mailing list. Users with excessive usage of email will be monitored and might have their email restricted if the user's usage of email is harmful to the server's performance.

g) Webspace usage
Contrary to popular belief, high quality webspace is not cheap. Yes, a 37GB hard drive might cost around $350 (as of January 2000), but a 50GB RAID5 storage device costs over $3,500 (as of January 2000). Because of this, the usage of webspace by customers is constantly monitored. Here are some guidelines for webspace usage: You should not store files on your account, unless the file is part of your web site. You should not store personal files on your account. Webspace is not for personal backups! Please do maintenance from time to time and delete files that are no longer used.

h) CPU/RAM usage
The CPU/RAM consumption of a web site may affect the performance of a server. This means that the implementation of CGIs on a web site must be carefully monitored by the account's owner. Examples of what can cause high CPU/RAM usage are: CGIs that handle too much data from text files, for example a message board. Perl scripts constantly executed consume a lot of server resources, since the Perl interpreter must be launched each time the script is called. Please limit these if possible. Sites with traffic in excess of 140,000 hits per day will consume plenty of CPU and RAM, since the webserver has to handle more. The webmasters of such websites should consider a dedicated server. Contact us for more information on dedicated servers. If a script (and its instances) is found to be consuming too much CPU power and/or RAM, and it is affecting the overall performance of a server, we have the right to warn the account's owner. The warning will consist of a request to improve the performance of the script, or to replace it by a more efficient one. If the account's user pays no attention to a warning (or several ones), we have the right to delete the script and suspend the account until the user complies. If, after that, the user still pays no attention to the warning and puts the script back we will delete the account. No refunds will be given and a clean up fee may be charged.

i) Data loss policy
We are not responsible for any data loss and/or damages that can incur due to any events. This includes data loss caused by the user, lack of caution by the user (i.e.: leaving your password written down where others can see it, log in, and delete/steal your data), hardware/software/human error, or a server security breach. We are *very* strict about server security, and it is something we monitor constantly every day. We are also very good at maintaining hardware in optimum conditions thanks to our years of extensive experience in the server hardware industry. However, we can't guarantee 100% fool proof security (actually, no one can guarantee you such a thing) since, as you might know, security bugs constantly appear on all operating systems before solutions to them are discovered.

j) Billing
All customers have 14 days to pay their accounts after their accounts become due. Web access to the account will be suspended if an account is not paid within those 14 days. It may be deleted after 30 days.

k) Email features
The email account features are not to be used to provide your visitors with some kind of "free email" offer. Doing so could kill a server, as thousands of people using email at a time can crash the operating system due to the excessive load, PLUS, their email messages will take a LOT of hard drive space. Email accounts are only for the internal use of a web site.

18) Procedures

We will proceed as necessary against any web sites violating these policies. Any obscene material of the pornographic, racist or hate related type, will be deleted immediately and you may be charged a "cleanup" fee with NO advanced notice. You will be given an immediate warning if a copyright holder of some file you are distributing contacts us for removal and submits evidence. Warnings must be replied to within 48 hours. If not, termination of account may follow. Any account that is terminated will not be refunded. If you signed up for a domain, our expense for the domain may be charged to you.

19) Domain renewal policy

We will take care of your domain's renewal fees, as long as: You still have a web hosting account with us when the domain's renewal date comes. The domain was registered or transferred to us. You do not leave us and then return before the domain's renewal time comes. You have had an active web hosting account with us for at least a month, even if the domain was not registered through us. You agree to transfer your domain from your registrar (Network Solutions, Register.com, etc) over to the registrar we use, if you did not register that domain through us. If the domain is currently with another registrar, you must warn us when the domain is coming up for renewal.

20) Domain registration policy

You may register any domain you want, as long as the domain is not of a trademark owned by someone else (i.e.: you could not register a domain like IBM.com even if it was available), however, the ability to successfully register the domain does not make you immune from objection to the use or registration of the domain. Read the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy for more information.

21) Our rights

We have the right to deny business to a customer for reasons including but not limited to: Being obsessively rude to a member of our staff. Attempting to re-open an account after the account has been previously canceled; creating problems on a server; having billing problems; demanding or expecting more than what our service provides.

22) We reserve the right to modify these policies at any time. All clients will be notified of such changes.

23) Hardware, Equipment, & Software

The customer is responsible for and must provide all telephone, computer, hardware and software equipment and services necessary to access our service. We make no representations, warranties or assurances that the Customer's equipment will be compatible with our service.
